Farm shop near Gränna focusing on chickens and cattle
Save
Between Gränna and Tranås, you will find Adelövs Gård with a cosy farm shop. The farm is beautifully situated just outside the village of Adelöv, between Gränna and Tranås.
Here, sustainability and organic production are the focus. The farm is committed to the well-being of the animals and their ability to live a natural life. The chickens are slow-growing and have access to outdoor areas. The animals on the farm eat KRAV-certified feed, and you can see the cows grazing in the pastures around the farm.
In the farm shop, organic chicken and beef from the farm are sold. The farm shop is almost always open, but it's good to call ahead to make sure someone is home to help you. The farm also has a barn that can be rented for larger events such as weddings or birthday celebrations.
Adelövs Gård is part of Food around Gränna (Mat runt Gränna). An initiative created by local producers and entrepreneurs who want to preserve a vibrant countryside and locally produced ingredients.
The shops, farm cafés, and restaurants are open year-round and are happy to show you how they make their delicacies.
Every year during the Ascension weekend, all businesses invite you to the food tour, where the participants have the same opening hours and offer tastings and fun activities for all ages.
