BauerGården is located in an enchanting environment with forests and lakes, while being close to the E4 and both Gränna and Jönköping.

When you are at BauerGården, it is easy to understand where the artist John Bauer drew his inspiration from; the landscape is perfect for stories about gnomes and trolls.

With a fantastic location between Jönköping and Gränna, and only 10 minutes from the E4, you will find BauerGården's fully equipped motorhome parking ”BauerGårdens ställplats”.

Here you are in the middle of "John Bauer-land" and the famous artist's magical environments. Beautifully nestled in a landscape with a fairy-tale mix of lakes, forests, mountains, and fields. From BauerGården, you can enjoy a fantastic view of beautiful summer meadows, grazing cows, and lake Bunn.

Hotel and restaurant

Here you’ll find a variety of accommodation options, from hotel rooms to charming cottages. The main building houses both the hotel and the restaurant, while several self-catering cottages are beautifully situated nearby, close to nature. At BauerGården, meals are prepared using local produce and ingredients from nearby farms and suppliers.

To round off your day in the best possible way, why not treat yourself to a relaxing Feel-Good Evening or enjoy a Wine, Whisky, or Chocolate Tasting paired with delicious food.

Motorhome parking

BauerGården's motorhome parking is intended for motorhomes and has space for about 70 motorhomes.

Your motorhome stands on a solid surface, and you have access to a service house with toilets, showers, washing machines, and a dumping station for toilets and greywater.

The facility also has a sauna, outdoor gym, and marked trails for cycling and hiking. The motorhome parking is open all year round, and the price includes WiFi and Canal Digital's TV offerings. Each spot has its own electrical outlet and TV socket.

You have the opportunity to use the large barbecue area, with a beautiful view of lake Bunn, which is adjacent to the site. You can choose between booking a spot on gravel with your own artificial grass mat or staying in drop-in spots on natural grass. If you want to contribute to a more sustainable society, you can choose to offset the carbon footprint of your stay.

Swimming in lake Bunn

Just 100 meters from the motorhome parking, there is a sandy beach with a swimming jetty, sauna, and relaxation area. For those who want to enjoy lake Bunn and the canal system that connects them further, canoes are available for rent at BauerGården.

Nature-related activities

BauerGården is a perfect starting point for both hiking and road or MTB cycling.

Hiking or running is an unbeatable way to experience the shapes and seasons of nature. The Bauer Trail runs around the corner, and there are several marked trails, both short and long, flat and hilly.

The cycling options are also extensive and easy to access through brochures and on Ride with GPS.

Mat runt Gränna

BauerGården is part of Food Around Gränna, an initiative created by local producers and entrepreneurs who want to support a vibrant countryside and locally produced ingredients. The shops, farm cafés, and restaurants are open year-round and are happy to show you how they make their delicacies. During the Ascension Day weekend each year, all businesses invite you to the food tour, where the participants have the same opening hours and offer tastings and fun activities for both young and old.
