About Hallby Handball

IF Hallby sports association was founded in 1929. The name Hallby comes from Hall, taken from Dunkehalla, and By from Bymarken. Initially, the sports were football, athletics, skiing, and skating.

The skating activities were eventually discontinued and replaced with handball (1933) and orienteering (1934). Hallby Handball has approximately 700 members, of which 500 are active.
