Breathtaking views

Ten kilometers north of Gränna, you can experience Klevens naturstig, a two-kilometer-long hiking route with breathtaking views over three landscapes at once.

Between the E4 and the old Riksettan, just a few hundred meters from the border to Östergötland, lies the farm Kleven beautifully situated with views over lake Vättern and Visingsö.

Klevens naturstig, a two-kilometer hiking route starting at the farm's parking lot, takes you through somewhat hilly terrain but offers breathtaking views.

Look out over three landscapes from Solhöjden

After walking through pastures and raspberry bushes, you reach a ravine with babbling brooks. The trail leads you along the ravine and up to the top called Solhöjden, which is located on the edge of the mountain.

From here, there is a fantastic viewpoint where you can look out over the landscapes of Småland, Västergötland, and Östergötland. In the middle of the sparkling Vättern water, you can also see Visingsö.

Hiking with a fika stop

At the viewpoint, there are nice benches to sit at. Buy fika from the café or bring your own packed lunch if the café is closed.

At the parking lot is Café Kleven 7an, a beautifully located and popular café. There are also cottages for rent if you want to make a longer stop in the area.

Gränna

A couple of days in Gränna holds everything you could wish for during your holiday. Stunningly clear water, breathtaking views, gentle walks in magical forests, history, cycling along beautiful country roads or challenging MTB tracks, relaxing to magical sunsets, strolls down cobblestone alleys, deliciously good ice cream and of course – the pepparmint rock candy.
