Äppledalen (Apple Valley), a Smålands Tuscany, has wonderful views of the countryside with beautiful crops and stunning surroundings. A little north of Huskvarna you will find this fantastic place which is sometimes called Smålands Tuscany. Here you have apple orchards roar, but in the valley there is more to visit.
North of Huskvarna you will find the small community of Kaxholmen best known for its cruel hill in Vätternrundan but here the entrepreneurship is breathing and together they have gathered under the name Äppledalen. Here you will find the two apple orchards Rudenstam and Vistakulle fruktodling with the Gårdsrosteriet Vista. Garden shop Tengblads and the beauty salon Min Stund. Opposite the Hunneryd bath in the community you will find the interior design shop and the café Grafitgrå.
In the middle of the orchard you will find Rudenstam's farm shop with its own cultivated fruit, drinks from their own farm and locally produced goods. The farm shop sells self-produced and manufactured products, but also locally produced meat, fish and cheese. In the farm shop there is also a snack where delicious delicacies and today's lunch are offered.
From the cultivation you have a beautiful view of lake Vättern. The farm shop has a large selection of goods that are self-produced or locally produced. In addition to self-made fruit, you can buy cider, must, jam and freshly roasted coffee. You can also enjoy these goodis at the farm's Summer Café.
It was in December 2011 that Ingo Deters opened the little coffee roaster at Vistakulle. Ingo rents a little store behind Vistakulle fruktodling, where he himself roasts around 130 kilos of coffee a day. The journey up to Ingo and his roaster is well worth the effort. Besides a very good coffee and a great view, you probably get a nice little chat with Ingo himself, because he likes to tell all about his coffee.

Dairy farm from 1896 on the southeastern slopes of Lake Vättern. There is a farm shop where milk, home-made yoghurt, cream and eggs are sold all year round, as well as corn, root vegetables, fruit, vegetables and flowers, etc. varying during the season. Corn picking is an obvious activity on the farm in late summer.
