Sofia church with its mighty scepter is a well known landmark in Jönköping cityscape.
A very beautiful church in central Jönköping, named after Sofia, Queen of Sweden from 1872 to 1907. The church was completed in 1888 and is in the Gothic style. The chancel contains a 17th-century oil painting Supper at Emmaus, purchased in Rome.
